Theory Across Disciplines

Jeffrey R. Di Leo (Series Editor)

This series surveys the multidisciplinary dimensions of contemporary theory through volumes devoted to established and emerging areas of theoretical interest. Contemporary theory is a multi- and inter-disciplinary endeavor that operates within and among the humanities, the social sciences, and many of the profession. Surprisingly, perhaps, it has also made substantial inroads into the natural sciences and the formal sciences. Each volume in the series brings together contributors from a wide variety of disciplines to speak to the way in which particular areas of contemporary theoretical concern such as queer theory, new materialism, and ecocriticism have impacted the scholarly trajectory of their respective fields.
