Peter is a Judge of the Supreme Court and formerly a judge in the Central Criminal Court and the Commercial Court. He is also Adjunct Professor of Criminal Law and Criminology at the University of Galway. Peter lectured in criminal law in Trinity College Dublin for two years and had a wide practice at the Bar. He has authored numerous articles on a range of legal topics in academic journals and has lectured in Ireland, Britain, America and China on an occasional basis.
