Owen Greenhall, a barrister at Garden Court Chambers, has a practice covering all aspects of criminal and civil law relating to protest and freedom of expression. He is very experienced in defending protesters in criminal trials and has acted in many of the recent significant appellate cases relating to protest and criminal law. Owen also has extensive experience defending injunction applications and related contempt of court proceedings as well as acting for claimants in civil actions against the police. Owen regularly provides pre-litigation advice on protest law to NGOs and other organisations.
