A series of short and accessible guides to the Froebelian approach in Early Childhood Education and Care, written by Froebel-trained practicing educators and scholars, in partnership with the Froebel Trust. Each book in the series emphasizes a different focus of the Froebelian principles. Informed by the latest research the books offer suggestions for practice around topics such as unity and connectedness, autonomous learning, valuing childhood in its own right, relationships matter, creativity and the power of symbols, the central importance of play, engaging with nature, knowledgeable and nurturing educators.
